Welcome to the ISW IBM Workplace Forms Prototype. This site has been developed in order to provide a demonstration of some of the capabilities of IBM Workplace Forms.

The site allows users to see a list of available forms ("my forms") and forms that have been saved as Drafts ("in progress") and submitted forms. ("completed"). These options can be expanded upon to include the ability for users to see the current status of their submitted form or where it might be in the associated business process.

The demo utilises IBM Lotus Domino as the web server and database store for the Workplace Form templates as well as the repository for submitted forms. When a form is submitted the data is extracted from the XFDL file and a new Lotus Notes document is created in the database. The submitted form is attached so it can be viewed at a later date and the data from the form is extracted into the Notes document. This demonstrates the ability to parse data out of the Workplace Form and have it populated into a back end database.

Please note that this is a prototype only and has not been completely tested. It has been tested to work in Internet Explorer 7.
